Our PhD program in Science Education prepares you to conduct scholarly analysis and development projects in science schooling, as well as to serve as a faculty member in a research-oriented college. The program also prepares you to show science training programs or to instruct other academics who train science education. The Science Education monitor in the Secondary Education MEd program is designed to satisfy the superior knowledge and skill needs of licensed secondary science teachers, enabling them to broaden their material data and professional educating expertise. The Teacher Education (MAT) Middle School Science Education Track meets the academic eligibility criteria for certification in Middle Grades General Sciences (5-9) in the State of Florida. Graduates of this Florida state-accredited instructor preparation program will qualify for a Professional Florida Educator’s Certificate.
